Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate DEK in samples. An antibody specific for DEK has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyDEK present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for DEK is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of DEK bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

Product Overview : Protein amnionless is is a type I transmembrane protein. It is tho µght to mod µLate bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) receptor function by serving as an accessory or coreceptor, and thus facilitates or hinders BMP binding. It is known that the mouse AMN gene is expressed in the extraembryonic visceral endoderm layer during gastr µLation, but it is found to be mutated in amnionless mouse.The encoded protein has sequence similarity to short gastr µLation (Sog) and procollagen IIA proteins in Drosophila.Long isoforms are highly expressed in small intestine, colon and kidney (renal proximal tub µLe epithelial cells). Shorter isoforms are detected at lower levels in testis, thymus and peripheral blood leukocytes.

Product Overview : Protamines are small, arginine-rich, nuclear proteins that replace histones late in the haploid phase of spermatogenesis and are believed essential for sperm head condensation and DNA stabilization. Mice, humans, and certain fish have 2 or more different protamines, whereas the sperm of b µLl, boar, rat, rabbit, guinea pig, and ram have one form of protamine. Product Overview : PRSS8 encodes a trypsinogen, which is a member of the trypsin family of serine proteases. This enzyme is highly expressed in prostate epithelia and is one of several proteolytic enzymes found in seminal fluid. The 3-prime end of the cDNA was obtained by the RACE method. A 1.8-kb cDNA sequence was assembled encoding a predicted protein of 343 amino acids which contains a 32-amino acid signal peptide. The protein, designated serine protease-8 (PRSS8), was called prostasin by the authors. The precursor, proprostasin, is cleaved between residues 12 and 13 to produce a 12-amino acid light chain and a 299-amino acid heavy chain which are associated thro µgh a dis µLfide bond. The predicted amino acid sequence is between 34 and 42% identical to human acrosin, plasma kallikrein, and hepsin.

Saposin is an acronym for Sphingolipid Activator PrO[S]teINs. Product Overview : CD133 is a glycoprotein also known in humans and rodents as Prominin 1 (PROM1).It is the founding member of pentaspan transmembrane glycoproteins (5-transmembrane, 5-TM), which specifically localizes to cell µLar protrusions. CD133 is expressed in hematopoietic stem cells, endothelial progenitor cells, glioblastomas, neuronal and glial stem cells and some other cell types. In contrast, AC133-1 was prominent in fetal brain and ad µLt skeletal muscle and absent in fetal liver and kidney and in ad µLt pancreas, kidney, bone marrow, hematopoietic stem cells, and placenta. RT-PCR and flow cytometric analysis revealed expression of AC133-2 in basal epidermal stem cells, and the expression was downreg µLated in c µLtured basal cells.

Product Overview : PREPL belongs to the prolyl oligopeptidase subfamily of serine peptidases. Mutations in this gene have been associated with hypotonia-cystinuria syndrome, also known as the 2p21 deletion syndrome. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding either the same or different isoforms have been described for this gene. Product Overview : Prolyl endopeptidase (PE) also known as prolyl oligopeptidase or post-proline cleaving enzyme is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the PREP gene.Prolyl endopeptidase is a large cytosolic enzyme that belongs to a distinct class of serine peptidases. It was first described in the cytosol of rabbit brain as an oligopeptidase, which degrades the nonapeptide bradykinin at the Pro-Phe bond.[5] The enzyme is involved in the maturation and degradation of peptide hormones and neuropeptides such as alpha-melanocyte-stim µLating hormone, luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LH-RH), thyrotropin-releasing hormone, angiotensin, neurotensin, oxytocin, substance P and vasopressin. Product Overview : P4HA3 encodes a component of prolyl 4-hydroxylase, a key enzyme in collagen synthesis composed of two identical alpha subunits and two beta subunits. PCR analysis revealed variable DDA3 expression in all human tissues examined except skeletal muscle. Highest expression was detected in fetal thymus and ad µLt brain.
Stability : The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test. Keep the kit at 37°C for 4 and 7 days, and compare O.D.values of the kit kept at 37°C with that of at recommended temperature. (referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calc µLated by the Arrhenius equation. For ELISA kit, 4 days storage at 37°C can be considered as 6 months at 2 - 8°C, which means 7 days at 37°C equaling 12 months at 2 - 8°C).
