Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate TNFSF14 in samples. An antibody specific for TNFSF14 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyTNFSF14 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for TNFSF14 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of TNFSF14 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 14 is a protein encoded by this gene is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family. This protein is a ligand for TNFRSF14, which is a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily, and which is also known as a herpesvirus entry mediator (HVEM). This protein may function as a costim µLatory factor for the activation of lymphoid cells and as a deterrent to infection by herpesvirus. This protein has been shown to stim µLate the proliferation of T cells, and trigger apoptosis of various tumor cells. This protein is also reported to prevent tumor necrosis factor alpha mediated apoptosis in primary hepatocyte. Two alternatively spliced transcript variant encoding distinct isoforms have been reported.

Product Overview : Sun et al. (2008) cloned mouse Tnfaip8l2, which they called Tipe2, and by database analysis, they identified human TNFAIP8L2. The deduced 184-amino acid human protein shares 94% identity with mouse Tnfaip8l2, shares 53% identity with human TNFAIP8 , and contains a death effector domain (DED) and 6 putative alpha-helices characteristic of DED-containing proteins. Northern blot analysis detected strong expression in mouse thymus, spleen, lymph node, and small intestine, with weak expression in lung, skin, and colon. The 157 aa residue soluble form of TNFa (sTNF-?is released from the C-terminus of the transmembrane protein thro µgh the activity of TNFa-converting enzyme (TACE), a membrane -bound disintegrin metalloproteinase. Rat cells known to express TNF-?include B cells, colonic columnar epithelial cells, NK and CD3 CD56 hepatic natural T cells, macrophages, monocytes and monocyte-derived dendritic cells, CD4 and CD8 T cells, mast cells, neutrophils, keratinocytes, plasma cells, and adipocytes.

Product Overview : Tub µLointerstitial nephritis antigen-like 1 has been cloned from mouse adrenocortical cells and is known to be closely associated with zonal differentiation of adrenocortical cells. In cell c µLture systems, TINAGL1 is a matricell µLar protein that interacts with both structural matrix proteins and cell surface receptors. However, the physiological roles of TINAGL1 and reg µLation of its expression are still not clearly understood. In the present study, the expression and localization of TINAGL1 in peri-implantation mouse embryos was examined. During preimplantation, the expression of both Tinagl1 mRNA and TINAGL1 protein was increased just prior to implantation. In blastocysts, TINAGL1 expression was localized to the trophectoderm.

Class III ?-tub µLin? is a microtub µLe element expressed exclusively in neurons, and is a pop µLar identifier specific for neurons in nervous tissue.
Stability : The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. Product Overview : General vesic µLar transport factor p115 is a peripheral membrane protein which recycles between the cytosol and the Golgi apparatus during interphase. It is reg µLated by phosphorylation : dephosphorylated protein associates with the Golgi membrane and dissociates from the membrane upon phosphorylation. Ras-associated protein 1 recruits this protein to coat protein complex II (COPII) vesicles during budding from the endoplasmic retic µLum, where it interacts with a set of COPII vesicle-associated SNAREs to form a cis-SNARE complex that promotes targeting to the Golgi apparatus. Transport from the ER to the cis/medial Golgi compartments requires the action of this gene product, GM130 and giantin in a sequential manner.

Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate PRSS2 in samples. An antibody specific for PRSS2 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyPRSS2 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for PRSS2 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of PRSS2 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : In the ileum, PRSS2 may be involved in defensin processing, including DEFA5. PRSS2 is a member of the trypsin family of serine proteases. This enzyme is secreted by the pancreas and cleaved to its active form in the small intestine. It is active on peptide linkages involving the carboxyl group of lysine or arginine. This gene and several other trypsinogen genes are localized to the T cell receptor beta locus on chromosome 7. Trypsin is a serine protease found in the digestive system of many vertebrates, where it hydrolyses proteins.Rowen et al. (1996) mapped the gene corresponding to the third pancreatic trypsinogen cDNA by fluorescence in situ hybridization. They used a cosmid clone containing 3 trypsinogen genes. Strong hybridization to chromosome 7 and weaker hybridization to chromosome 9 were observed. They isolated and partially sequenced 4 cosmid clones from the chromosome 9 region. They found that the region represents a duplication and translocation of a DNA segment from the 3-prime end of the TCRB locus that includes at least 7 V(beta) elements and a functional trypsinogen gene denoted T9.
