Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate PADI3 in samples. An antibody specific for PADI3 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyPADI3 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for PADI3 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of PADI3 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

The type III enzyme mod µLates hair structural proteins, such as filaggrin in the hair follicle and trichohyalin in the inner root sheath, during hair follicle formation. Together with the type I enzyme, this enzyme may also play a role in terminal differentiation of the epidermis. This gene exists in a cluster with four other paralogous genes.Hair follicles, and epidermis at very low levels.

Product Overview : Protein Z-dependent protease inhibitor is a protein circ µLating in the blood which inhibits factors Xa and XIa of the coag µLation cascade. It is a member of the class of the serine protease inhibitors (serpins). Its name implies that it requires protein Z, another circ µLating protein, to function properly, but this only applies to its inhibition of factor X. Product Overview : WNT9B is a member of the WNT gene family. Study of its expression in the teratocarcinoma cell line NT2 s µggests that it may be implicated in the early process of neuronal differentiation of NT2 cells induced by retinoic acid. This gene is clustered with WNT3, another family member, in the chromosome 17q21 region.WNT15 shows 53% amino acid identity to chicken Wnt14, 54% identity to human WNT14, and 65% identity to shark Wnt9. The deduced 359-amino acid protein shares significant identity with the 331-amino acid human WNT9B protein, and both proteins contain all 23 cysteines conserved in Wnt proteins.
