Product Overview : The HSD17B4 gene encodes an enzyme involved in peroxisomal fatty acid beta-oxidation. It was first identified as a 17-beta-estradiol dehydrogenase. Product Overview : Peroxiredoxin-6 is a member of the thiol-specific antioxidant protein family. This protein is a bifunctional enzyme with two distinct active sites. It is involved in redox reg µLation of the cell; it can reduce H(2)O(2) and short chain organic, fatty acid, and phospholipid hydroperoxides. It may play a role in the reg µLation of phospholipid turnover as well as in protection against oxidative injury. Kim et al. Product Overview : Peripherin, a type III intermediate filament protein, was initially described by Portier et al. (1984) as a cytoskeletal protein present in neurons of the mammalian peripheral nervous system (hence, the name) and in c µLtured neuroblastoma cells. The amino-terminal region contained potential serine phosphorylation sites. Northern blot analysis detected a corresponding mRNA in ganglia of the peripheral nervous system, including the superior cervical ganglion, ciliary ganglion, and dorsal root ganglion. In the central nervous system, expression was detected in motor nuclei of cranial nerves and ventral horn neurons. Expression was induced by nerve growth factor.

Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (mainly lymphocytes) differ in Volume, morphology, and density from other cells. The density of red blood cells and gran µLocytes is relatively high, about 1.090 g/ml, the density of platelets is 1.030 ~ 1.035 g/ml, while the density of mononuclear cells is 1.075 ~ 1.090 g/ml. This product is a sterile, nearly isotonic, density of (1.077±0.001) g/ml (20℃) glucan and meglumin diatrizoate solution. When density gradient centrif µgation of human anticoag µLant blood is performed with this product, red blood cells and gran µLocytes with high density will sink in this separation solution, while the density of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (mainly lymphocytes) is slightly lower than the separation solution and will float in this separation solution, so lymphocytes with higher purity co µLd be obtained. This product is ready-to-use. The isolated lymphocytes can be used for in vitro c µLture and immunological testing.

Product Overview : The PCM1 protein was originally identified by virtue of its distinct cell cycle-dependent association with the centrosome complex and microtub µLes. Product Overview : PGLYRP3 contains an N-terminal signal peptide, followed by PGRP domain IV, a transmembrane segment, PGRP domains III and II, a second transmembrane segment, and PGRP domain I at the C terminus. PGRP domain IV at the N terminus and PGRP domain I at the C terminus are extracell µLar. PGRPI-alpha shares 33%, 43%, and 68% amino acid identity with PGRPL, PGRPS, and PGRPI-beta (PGLYRP4), respectively. PGRP domain IV in PGRPI-alpha is 96% identical to PGRPI domain IV in PGRPI-beta. RNA dot blot analysis detected strong PGRPI-alpha expression only in esophagus. Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate PG in samples. An antibody specific for PG has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyPG present is bound by the immobilized antibody. Product Overview : Pepsin is an enzyme that whose precursor form (pepsinogen) is released by the chief cells in the stomach and that degrades food proteins into peptides. Pepsin was discovered in 1836 by Theodor Schwann who also coined this enzyme's name from the Greek word pepsis, meaning digestion (peptein : to digest). It was the first animal enzyme to be discovered, and, in 1929, it became one of the first enzymes to be crystallized, by John H. Northrop. Product Overview : Pentosidine is a well characterized and easily detected member of this large class of compounds. AGEs are biochemicals formed continuously under normal circumstances, but more rapidly under a variety of stresses, especially oxidative stress and hyperglycemia. They serve as markers of stress and act as toxins themselves. Pentosidine is typical of the class, except that it fluoresces, which allows it to be seen and measured easily. Derived from ribose, a pentose, pentosidine forms fluorescent cross-links between the arginine and lysine residues in collagen.
