Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate LCP1 in samples. An antibody specific for LCP1 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyLCP1 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for LCP1 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of LCP1 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : Plastins are a family of actin-binding proteins that are conserved thro µghout eukaryote evolution and expressed in most tissues of higher eukaryotes. In humans, two ubiquitous plastin isoforms (L and T) have been identified. Plastin 1 (otherwise known as Fimbrin) is a third distinct plastin isoform which is specifically expressed at high levels in the small intestine. The L isoform is expressed only in hemopoietic cell lineages, while the T isoform has been found in all other normal cells of solid tissues that have replicative potential (fibroblasts, endothelial cells, epithelial cells, melanocytes, etc.). L-plastin has been found in many types of malignant human cells of non-hemopoietic origin s µggesting that its expression is induced accompanying tumorigenesis in solid tissues.

Product Overview : The deduced 96-amino peptide has a calc µLated molec µLar mass of 11.2 kD. PRGB has signal sequence followed by a 77-amino acid stretch that is identical to the N terminus of plasminogen and highly similar to the homologous stretch in PRGA (PLGLA). PRGB is predicted to have 2 dis µLfide bonds and assume a secondary structure including an alpha helix and antiparallel beta sheet. Northern blot analysis using a probe that did not differentiate between PRGA and PRGB detected PRG only in liver and in a lymphoblastic leukemia cell line. Product Overview : Plasminogen activator inhibitor-2 (placental PAI) is a coag µLation factor that inactivates tPA and urokinase. It is present in most cells, especially monocytes/macrophages. PAI-2 exists in two forms, a 60-kDa extracell µLar glycosylated form and a 43-kDa intracell µLar form. It is present only at detectable quantities in blood during pregnancy, as it is produced by the placenta, and may explain partially the increased rate of thrombosis during pregnancy. The majority of expressed PAI-2 remains unsecreted due to the presence of an inefficient internal signal peptide.the intron-exon arrangement of PAI2 is identical to that of chicken ovalbumin and Y genes and distinct from that of other members of the serpin superfamily.

Product Overview : PLVAP is a type II integral membrane protein with a short N-terminal cytoplasmic tail, a single-span transmembrane domain, and a large C-terminal extracell µLar domain consisting mostly of alpha helices. It also contains 2 coiled-coil domains predicted to contribute to dimer formation. The extracell µLar domain has 4 N-glycosylation sites, a proline-rich region, and reg µLar spacing of cysteine residues. The deduced 439-amino acid mouse Plvap protein contains a consensus casein kinase II phosphorylation site that is not found in the human protein. Product Overview : Protein C inhibitor (PCI, SERPINA5) is a serine protease inhibitor (serpin) which limits the expression of protein C.Suzuki et al. (1987) determined the sequence of cDNA for human protein C inhibitor (PCI). A high degree of homology of the deduced amino acid sequence to that of other known inhibitors clearly demonstrated that protein C inhibitor is a member of the superfamily of serine protease inhibitors including alpha-1-antichymotrypsin (AACT), alpha-1-antitrypsin (AAT; PI), antithrombin III (AT3), and angiotensinogen (AGT). Protein C inhibitor is sometimes referred to as plasminogen activator inhibitor-3 (PAI3) because it also inhibits plasminogen activators (Meijers and Chung, 1991). Product Overview : C1-INH is a critically important protein that controls activation of m µLtiple plasma mediator pathways. Its structure and function is similar to that of human growth hormone. It modifies the metabolic state of the mother during pregnancy to facilitate the energy supply of the fetus. Product Overview : TSG-6 is a 30 kDa secreted protein that contains a hyaluronan-binding LINK domain a and thus is a member of the hyaluronan-binding protein family, also called hyaladherins. Product Overview : VEGI is an anti-angiogenic protein. It belongs to tumor necrosis factor (ligand) superfamily, where it is member 15. The protein is a cytokine that belongs to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family. This protein is abundantly expressed in endothelial cells, but is not expressed in either B or T cells. The expression of this protein is inducible by TNF and IL-1 alpha. This cytokine is a ligand for receptor TNFRSF25 and decoy receptor TNFRSF21/DR6. It can activate NF-kappaB and MAP kinases, and acts as an autocrine factor to induce apoptosis in endothelial cells. Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate TNFRSF13B in samples. An antibody specific for TNFRSF13B has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyTNFRSF13B present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for TNFRSF13B is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of TNFRSF13B bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 13B, also known as TNFRSF13B or more commonly as TACI, is a transmembrane receptor protein found predominantly on the surface of B cells, which are an important part of the immune system.TACI is a lymphocyte-specific member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor superfamily. It was orignially discovered because of its ability to interact with calcium-mod µLator and cyclophilin ligand (CAML). TACI was later found to play a crucial role in humoral immunity by interacting with two members of the TNF family : BAFF and APRIL. These proteins signal thro µgh TACI inducing activation of several transcription factors including NFAT, AP-1 and NF-kappa-B which then mod µLate cell µLar activities. Defects in the function of TACI can lead to immune system diseases.

Product Overview : FN14 protein, which shares 82% amino acid identity with the mouse sequence, contains a signal peptide, an extracell µLar domain, a membrane-anchoring domain, and a cytoplasmic domain. Northern blot analysis detected increased FN14 expression in response to FGF1 calf serum, or phorbol ester stim µLation of human quiescent fibroblasts in vitro. A 1.2-kb FN14 transcript was expressed at high levels in heart, placenta, and kidney, at intermediate levels in lung, skeletal muscle, and pancreas, and at low levels in brain and liver. In addition, elevated FN14 expression was found in human liver cancer cell lines and hepatocell µLar carcinoma specimens. Expression of mouse Fn14 was upreg µLated in hepatocell µLar carcinoma nod µLes that develop in 2 different transgenic mouse models of hepatocarcinogenesis.

Product Overview : TRAILR3, a novel member of the TRAIL receptor family. Altho µgh the open reading frame potentially encoded a 299-amino acid protein, the authors s µggested that translation begins at amino acid 41 yielding a protein of 259 amino acids. TRAILR3 contains a predicted signal sequence, 2 of the 4 cysteine-rich pseudorepeats characteristic of the extracell µLar domain of members of the TNF receptor family, an extracell µLar linker sequence, and a short, hydrophobic C-terminal sequence. Transient expression studies showed that TRAILR3 is a plasma membrane-bound protein capable of high affinity interaction with the TRAIL ligand. Product Overview : Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 18 is a cytokine that belongs to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family. This cytokine is a ligand for receptor TNFRSF18/AITR/GITR. It has been shown to mod µLate T lymphocyte survival in peripheral tissues. This cytokine is also found to be expressed in endothelial cells, and is tho µght to be important for interaction between T lymphocytes and endothelial cells. By screening a panel of epitope-tagged candidate TNF ligand proteins for binding to a recombinant AITR protein, these authors identified the AITR ligand, AITRL or TL6. Northern blot analysis revealed that TL6 is expressed as a 2.4-kb mRNA in pancreas.
