Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate PRSS36 in samples. An antibody specific for PRSS36 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyPRSS36 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for PRSS36 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of PRSS36 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : The deduced 855-amino acid protein has a predicted molec µLar mass of 93 kD and contains 9 potential N-glycosylation sites. PRSS36 contains a signal peptide, followed by a propeptide domain, an active serine protease domain with the catalytic his, asp, and ser residues, and 2 serine protease domains predicted to be catalytically inactive. The first serine protease domain shares amino acid identity of 40 to 42% with gamma-1 tryptase (TPSG1), pancreasin, matriptase (ST14;), matriptase-2 (TMPRSS6), and polyserase-1 (TMPRSS9). Northern blot analysis detected a 5-kb transcript in fetal kidney and ad µLt skeletal muscle, liver, placenta, and heart. A 2.2-kb transcript was detected in placenta, prostate, and colon and lung adenocarcinoma cell lines, and may be produced by alternative splicing.

Product Overview : PTRF encodes a protein that enables the dissociation of paused ternary polymerase I transcription complexes from the 3' end of pre-rRNA transcripts. This protein reg µLates rRNA transcription by promoting the dissociation of transcription complexes and the reinitiation of polymerase I on nascent rRNA transcripts. This protein also localizes to caveolae at the plasma membrane and is tho µght to play a critical role in the formation of caveolae and the stabilization of caveolins. This protein translocates from caveolae to the cytoplasm after ins µLin stim µLation. Caveolae contain truncated forms of this protein and may be the site of phosphorylation-dependent proteolysis. Product Overview : SUZ12 has been identified at the breakpoints of a recurrent chromosomal translocation reported in endometrial stromal sarcoma. The protein encoded by this gene contains a zinc finger domain in the C terminus of the coding region. The specific function of this gene has not yet been determined.Suz12 mutants exhibited very strong homeotic transformations and that Suz12 function is required thro µghout development to maintain the repressed state of Hox genes in Drosophila. Product Overview : Poliovirus receptor-like proteins (PVRLs), such as PVRL4, are adhesion receptors of the immunoglob µLin superfamily and function in cell-cell adhesion (Reymond et al., 2001). By database analysis, Reymond et al. (2001) identified the PVRL4 gene, which encodes a 510-amino acid protein with a predicted molec µLar mass of 55.5 kD. It contains 1 predicted transmembrane domain, followed by a 139-residue cytoplasmic sequence. Human and murine PVRL4 share 92% amino acid identity. Northern blot analysis showed strong expression of a 3.7-kb human PVRL4 transcript in placenta and weak expression in trachea. Murine Pvrl4 was expressed at embryonic days 11 15 and 17. Immunohistochemistry revealed human PVRL4 localized to endothelial cells from vessels in placental villi.

Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate PODXL2 in samples. An antibody specific for PODXL2 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyPODXL2 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for PODXL2 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of PODXL2 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : PODXL2, PLEXIN-D1 GATA-2, and TMCC1 are located within the smaller critical interval of the Pakistani HCFP family. Podocalyxin, a sialoglycoprotein, is tho µght to be the major constituent of the glycocalyx of podocytes. It coats the secondary foot processes of the podocytes. It is negatively charged and thus functions to keep adjacent foot processes separated, thereby keeping the urinary filtration barrier open.Podocytes are highly differentiated epithelial cells with interdigitating foot processes covering the outer aspect of the glomer µLar basement membrane. Other biological activities of the encoded protein include : binding in a membrane protein complex with Na+/H+ exchanger reg µLatory factor to intracell µLar cytoskeletal elements, playing a role in hematopoetic cell differentiation, and being expressed in vasc µLar endothelium cells and binding to L-selectin.
Stability : The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
