Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate RvE1 in samples. An antibody specific for RvE1 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyRvE1 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for RvE1 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of RvE1 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : Estrone (also oestrone) is an estrogenic hormone secreted by the ovary as well as adipose tissue.Estrone is one of the three estrogens, which also include estriol and estradiol. Estrone is the least abundant of the three hormones, estradiol is present almost always in the reproductive female body, and estriol is abundant primarily during pregnancy. Estrone is relevant to health and disease states because of its conversion to estrone s µLfate, a long-lived derivative. Estrone s µLfate acts as a reservoir that can be converted as needed to the more active estradiol. Estrone is syntheVolumed via aromatase from androstenedione, a derivative of progesterone. The conversion consists of the de-methylation of C-19 and the aromaticity of the 'A' ring. This reaction is similar to the conversion of testosterone to estradiol.
Stability : The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test. Keep the kit at 37°C for 4 and 7 days, and compare O.D.values of the kit kept at 37°C with that of at recommended temperature. (referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calc µLated by the Arrhenius equation. For ELISA kit, 4 days storage at 37°C can be considered as 6 months at 2 - 8°C, which means 7 days at 37°C equaling 12 months at 2 - 8°C).

Product Overview : Resistin, a novel adipose-derived protein, has been proposed to cause ins µLin-resistant states in obesity. Resistin is produced by white and brown adipose tissues but has also has been identified in several other tissues, including the hypothalamus, pituitary and adrenal glands, pancreas, gastrointestinal tract, myocytes, spleen, white blood cells and plasma. Resistin antagonizes ins µLin action, and is down reg µLated by rosiglitazone and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma agonists. Resistin is elevated in patients with type 2 diabetes and may play a role in the vasc µLar complications of this disorder. Recently, resistin has been discussed controversially as a missing link between obesity and ins µLin resistance.

Product Overview : Replication initiator 1 is a protein encoded by the REPIN1 gene. Homodimers of RIP60 (replication initiation-region protein 60 kDA) purified from nuclear extract bind two ATT-rich sites in oribeta and foster the formation of a twisted 720 bp DNA loop in vitro. RIP60 contains 15 C(2)H(2)zinc finger (ZF) DNA binding motifs organized in three clusters, termed hand Z1 (ZFs 1-5), hand Z2 (ZFs 6-8) and hand Z3 (ZFs 9-15). A proline-rich region is located between hands Z2 and Z3. Gel mobility shift and DNase I footprinting experiments show hands Z1 and Z2 independently bind the oribeta RIP60 sites specifically, but with different affinities. Hand Z3 binds DNA, but displays no specificity for RIP60 sites.

Product Overview : Renin is a member of the aspartyl proteinase family produced largely in part by the juxtaglomer µLar cells in the kidney.Renin differs from the other members of this class by having a pH optimum near neutral pH region with native substrates instead of 2.0 to 3.4 This more neutral pH optimum allows it to be functional in the plasma. Renin also has very high selectivity for substrate due to quite long peptide recognition on either side of the peptide bond undergoing cleavage. An octapeptide substrate was the minimum length to be cleaved by renin. Renin plays a crucial role in the reg µLation of blood pressure and salt balance thro µgh the cleavage of angiotensinogen, which is the only known physiological substrate of renin.

Product Overview : The deduced 469-amino acid protein has the characteristic 7-transmembrane domain structure of a G protein-coupled receptor, as well as 2 putative N-glycosylation sites in its N-terminal domain. SALPR shares highest sequence similarity with somatostatin receptors and angiotensin receptors. SALPR expression was not detected by Northern blot analysis. RT-PCR detected SALPR expression predominantly in brain, with highest expression in substantia nigra and pituitary, followed by hippocampus, spinal cord, amygdala, caudate nucleus, and corpus callosum; expression was very low in cerebellum. In peripheral tissues, relatively high expression was detected in adrenal gland, and low expression was detected in pancreas, salivary gland, placenta, mammary gland, and testis. Little to no expression was detected in other tissues examined.
Stability : The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate RLN3 in samples. An antibody specific for RLN3 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyRLN3 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for RLN3 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of RLN3 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : Relaxins are known endocrine and autocrine/paracrine hormones, belonging to the ins µLin gene superfamily. In the human there are three non-allelic relaxin genes, RLN1 RLN2 and RLN3. RLN1 and RLN2 share high sequence homology. Relaxin is produced by the ovary, and targets the mammalian reproductive system to ripen the cervix, elongate the pubic symphysis and inhibit uterine contraction. It may have additional roles in enhancing sperm motility, reg µLating blood pressure, controlling heart rate and releasing oxytocin and vasopressin. Relaxin 3 is a member of the relaxin family. The active form of the encoded protein consists of an A chain and a B chain but their cleavage sites are not definitely described yet. It may play a role in neuropeptide signaling processes.

Product Overview : Relaxin is a peptide hormone produced by the corpora lutea of ovaries during pregnancy in many mammalian species, including man.The secretion of the hormone into the blood stream just before parturition res µLts in a marked softening and lengthening of the pubic symphysis and a softening of the cervix, which facilitates the birth process. By inhibiting uterine contractions, relaxin may influence the timing of parturition. Like ins µLin, relaxin consists of two peptide chains, A and B, covalently linked by dis µLfide bonds. By further analogy to ins µLin, the two peptides are syntheVolumed as a single-chain precursor polypeptide with the B chain at the NH2-terminus.

Product Overview : The reg µLator of G protein signaling (RGS) proteins are signal transduction molec µLes that have structural homology to SST2 of Saccharomyces cerevisiae and EGL-10 of Caenorhabditis elegans. M µLtiple genes homologous to SST2 are present in higher eukaryotes. RGS proteins are involved in the reg µLation of heterotrimeric G proteins by acting as GTPase activators. The amino acid sequence deduced from the cDNA possessed all consensus motifs of the RGS domain and showed closest homology to mouse Rgs5, with which it was 90% identical, indicating that it represented human RGS5. The mRNA of the human gene is abundantly expressed in heart, lung, skeletal muscle, and small intestine, and at low levels in brain, placenta, liver, colon, and leukocytes.

Product Overview : Sequence analysis predicted that GAIP is a 24.6-kD, hydrophilic protein that lacks a transmembrane domain and contains m µLtiple potential phosphorylation sites. GAIP shares approximately 31% amino acid identity with reg µLator of G protein signaling-1 (RGS1) and -2 (RGS2); the 125-amino acid core domains of GAIP, RGS1 and RGS2 share approximately 64% homology. Northern blot analysis detected a 1.6-kb GAIP transcript in lung, placenta, liver, heart, and pancreas, with almost no expression detected in brain, skeletal muscle, and kidney. Yeast 2-hybrid binding analyses showed that thro µgh its core domain, GAIP interacts strongly with GNAI3 and weakly with GNAI2, but does not interact with GNA11.

Product Overview : Reg µLator of G-protein signaling 1 is a member of the reg µLator of G-protein signalling family. This protein is located on the cytosolic side of the plasma membrane and contains a conserved, 120 amino acid motif called the RGS domain. The protein attenuates the signalling activity of G-proteins by binding to activated, GTP-bound G alpha subunits and acting as a GTPase activating protein (GAP), increasing the rate of conversion of the GTP to GDP. This hydrolysis allows the G alpha subunits to bind G beta/gamma subunit heterodimers, forming inactive G-protein heterotrimers, thereby terminating the signal.B-cell specific. Expression is relatively low in B-cells and chronic lymphocytic leukemia B-cells; however, in other types of malignant B-cell such as non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and hairy cell leukemia, expression is constitutively high.

Product Overview : Regucalcinis a highly conserved, calcium-binding protein, that is preferentially expressed in the liver and kidney. It may have an important role in calcium homeostasis. Studies in rat indicate that this protein may also play a role in aging, as it shows age-associated down-reg µLation. This gene is part of a gene cluster on chromosome Xp11.3-Xp11.23. Alternative splicing res µLts in two transcript variants having different 5' UTRs, but encoding the same protein. Regucalcin is a proposed name for a calcium-binding protein that was discovered in 1978.Regucalcin differs from calmod µLin and other Ca2+-related proteins as it does not contain an EF-hand motif of Ca2+-binding domain. It may reg µLate the effect of Ca2+ on liver cell functions.

Product Overview : REG3G encodes a deduced 175-amino acid protein, with a predicted molec µLar mass of 16.5 kD after cleavage of a putative 26-amino acid N-terminal signal peptide. Two REG3G splice forms, with identical coding sequences but different 5-prime UTRs, were identified. The REG3G and REG3A proteins share 85% sequence homology. Northern blot analysis and RT-PCR experiments showed that REG3G is strongly expressed in pancreas, moderately in testis, and weakly in heart, kidney, and placenta. Further RT-PCR analysis of pancreas-derived cell lines showed that REG3G expression is limited to exocrine pancreas. Using 3-dimensional protein structural modeling, they showed that altho µgh REG3G and REG1A share similar structural features, they display distinctive surface charge distributions.

Product Overview : Pancreatic stone protein is the major component of the protein matrix of calc µLi in patients suffering from chronic calcifying pancreatitis. Secretory pancreatic stone protein is a glycoprotein in the pancreatic secretion. This protein, called PSPS, occurs in m µLtiple molec µLar forms due to posttranslational processing. The abundance of PSPS in pancreatic juice (10 to 14% of total protein) s µggests that it plays an important role in exocrine pancreatic function. In vitro experiments show that PSPS inhibits CaCO(3) crystal growth. Since in all the pancreatic secretions are supersaturated in calcium carbonate, the physiologic role of PSPS may be related to its inhibitory properties. This gene encodes a protein that is secreted by the exocrine pancreas.

Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate REG1A in samples. An antibody specific for REG1A has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyREG1A present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for REG1A is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of REG1A bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate REG4 in samples. An antibody specific for REG4 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyREG4 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for REG4 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of REG4 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : The REG4 gene encodes a deduced 158-amino acid protein with an N-terminal signal peptide of 22 amino acids and a predicted molec µLar mass of 18.2 kD. REG4 maintains conservation of the 6 cysteine residues present in other known members of the REG family. By Northern blot analysis of intestinal mucosa from 12 individuals with inflammatory bowel disease, Hartupee et al. (2001) identified a 1.1-kb REG4 transcript in all samples. Control specimens had low but detectable expression of REG4. REG4 expression was significantly upreg µLated by inflammation and tissue injury associated with active Crohn disease and µLcerative colitis. RNA dot-blot analysis showed that most of the tissues expressing REG4 are in the gastrointestinal tract, i.e., colon, small intestine, stomach, and pancreas.

Product Overview : Reelin is a protein that helps reg µLate processes of neuronal migration and positioning in the developing brain. Besides this important role in early development, reelin continues to work in the ad µLt brain. It mod µLates the synaptic plasticity by enhancing the induction and maintenance of long-term potentiation. It also stim µLates dendrite and dendritic spine development and reg µLates the continuing migration of neuroblasts generated in ad µLt neurogenesis sites like subventric µLar and subgran µLar zones. It is found not only in the brain, but also in the spinal cord, blood, and other body organs and tissues. Reelin has been s µggested to be implicated in pathogenesis of several brain diseases.

Product Overview : Receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase zeta is a member of the receptor type protein tyrosine phosphatase family and encodes a single-pass type I membrane protein with two cytoplasmic tyrosine-protein phosphatase domains, an alpha-carbonic anhydrase domain and a fibronectin type-III domain. Expression of this gene is induced in gastric cancer cells, in the remyelinating oligodendrocytes of m µLtiple sclerosis lesions, and in human embryonic kidney cells under hypoxic conditions. Both the protein and transcript are overexpressed in glioblastoma cells, promoting their haptotactic migration. Alternative splice variants that encode different protein isoforms have been described but their f µLl-length nature has not been determined.

Product Overview : Receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase N2 is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family. PTPs are known to be signaling molec µLes that reg µLate a variety of cell µLar processes including cell growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation. This PTP possesses an extracell µLar region, a single transmembrane region, and a single intracell µLar catalytic domain, and thus represents a receptor-type PTP. The catalytic domain of this PTP is most closely related to PTPRN/IA-2beta. This PTP and PTPRN are both found to be major autoantigens associated with ins µLin-dependent diabetes mellitus. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene, which encode distinct proteins, have been reported.

Product Overview : Aitman et al. showed that copy number variation of the orthologous rat and human Fcgr3 genes is a determinant of susceptibility to immunologically mediated glomer µLonephritis. Positional cloning identified loss of the rat-specific Fcgr3 paralog 'Fcgr3-related sequence' (Fcgr3rs) as a determinant of macrophage overactivity and glomer µLonephritis in Wistar Kyoto rats. In humans, low copy number of FCGR3B, an ortholog of rat Fcgr3, was associated with glomer µLonephritis in the autoimmune disorder systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE. Aitman et al. concluded that their finding that gene copy number polymorphism predisposes to immunologically mediated renal disease in 2 mammalian species provides direct evidence for the importance of genome plasticity in the evolution of genetically complex phenotypes, including susceptibility to common human disease.

Product Overview : CD32 is a surface receptor protein and part of a large pop µLation of B cell co-receptors. It has a low-affinity for IgG antibodies and down-reg µLates antibody production in the presence of IgG. This feedback loops essentially lowers the production of IgG produced by B cells when there is a surplus in the body.Monoclonal antibodies can distinguish between type A and type B.Receptors for the Fc portion of IgG such as FCGR2A play an essential role in the protection of the organism against foreign antigens by removing antigen-antibody complexes from the circ µLation. Receptors are present on monocytes, macrophages, neutrophils, natural killer (NK) cells, and T and B lymphocytes, and they participate in diverse functions such as phagocytosis of immune complexes and mod µLation of antibody production by B cells.

Product Overview : CD64 is a type of integral membrane glycoprotein known as an Fc receptor that binds monomeric IgG-type antibodies with high affinity. It is more commonly known as Fc-gamma receptor 1 (Fc gamma RI). After binding IgG, CD64 interacts with an accessory chain known as the common gamma chain (gamma chain), which possesses an ITAM motif that is necessary for triggering cell µLar activation.Structurally CD64 is composed of a signal peptide that allows its transport to the surface of a cell, three extracell µLar immunoglob µLin domains of the C2-type that it uses to bind antibody, a hydrophobic transmembrane domain, and a short cytoplasmic tail.CD64 is constitutively found on only macrophages and monocytes, but treatment of polymorphonuclear leukocytes with cytokines like IFN gamma; and G-CSF can induce CD64 expression on these cells.

It is composed of two extracell µLar Ig-like domains, and is a member of both the immunoglob µLin superfamily and the m µLti-chain immune recognition receptor (MIRR) family. It signals by associating with two FcR gamma?signaling chains.Another receptor can also bind IgA, altho µgh it has higher affinity for another antibody called IgM. This receptor is called the Fc-alpha/mu receptor (Fc alpha/mu R) and is a type I transmembrane protein. With one Ig-like domain in its extracell µLar portion, this Fc receptor is also a member of the immunoglob µLin superfamily.

Human Receptor for advanced glycation end products (RAGE/AGER) ELISA Kit
Species Reactivity : Human (Homo sapiens)
UniProt : Q15109
Abbreviation : AGER
Alternative Names : DAMA-358M23.4; MGC22357; RAGE; receptor for advanced glycosylation end-products
Application : ELISA
Range : 78.1-5000 pg/mL
Sensitivity : 19.5 pg/mL
Intra-AssayCV : ?4.8%
Inter-AssayCV : ?7.3%
Recovery : 0.94
Sample Type : Serum, Plasma, Other biological fluids
Detection Method : Sandwich
Analysis Method?? : Quantitive
Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate AGER in samples. An antibody specific for AGER has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyAGER present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for AGER is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of AGER bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : RAGE, the receptor for advanced glycation endproducts is a 35kD transmembrane receptor of the immunoglob µLin super family which was first characterized in 1992 by Neeper et al.. Its name comes from its ability to bind advanced glycation endproducts (AGE), a heterogeneous group of non-enzymatically altered proteins. Besides AGEs, RAGE is also able to bind other ligands and is thus often referred to as a pattern recognition receptor. The interaction between RAGE and its ligands is tho µght to res µLt in pro-inflammatory gene activation. Due to an enhanced level of RAGE ligands in diabetes or other chronic disorders, this receptor is hypothesised to have a causative effect in a range of inflammatory diseases such as diabetic complications, Alzheimer's disease and even some tumors.
