Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate SYNCRIP in samples. An antibody specific for SYNCRIP has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anySYNCRIP present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for SYNCRIP is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of SYNCRIP bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : SYNCRIP detected in heart, brain, pancreas, placenta, spleen, lung, liver, skeletal muscle, kidney, thymus, prostate, uterus, small intestine, colon, peripheral blood and testis.Heterogenous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) implicated in mRNA processing mechanisms. Isoform 1 isoform 2 and isoform 3 are associated in vitro with pre-mRNA, splicing intermediates and mature mRNA protein complexes. Isoform 1 binds to apoB mRNA AU-rich sequences. Isoform 1 is part of the APOB mRNA editosome complex and may mod µLate the postranscriptional C to U RNA-editing of the APOB mRNA thro µgh either by binding to A1CF (APOBEC1 complementation factor), to APOBEC1 or to RNA itself. May be involved in translationally coupled mRNA turnover.
Stability : The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test. Keep the kit at 37°C for 4 and 7 days, and compare O.D.values of the kit kept at 37°C with that of at recommended temperature.
