Stimulates RABGEF1 mediated nucleotide exchange on RAB5A. PTM: Proteolytic cleavage by caspases in apoptotic cells causes loss of endosome fusion activity. similarity: Belongs to the rabaptin family. subunit: Heterodimer with RABGEF1.
