RT PCR Genotyping Kit Thrombophilia Susceptibility
GENERAL INFORMATION
Disturbances in the normal process of blood coagulation can lead to an increased tendency to thrombus formation. Thrombophilia is a condition of increased tendency of the circulatory system to form blood clots. The condition in most cases is genetically determined and is due to mutations in the factors of the blood coagulation system, which leads to disturbances in their functional activity or changes in their expression levels.
Thrombophilia Susceptibility Real-Time PCR Genotyping Kit (8 SNPs)
allows the detection of
8 polymorphisms
that are related to blood coagulation processes and especially to the thrombus formation process:
Factor II – prothrombin: 20210 G>A
Factor V – proaccelerin: 1691 G>A
Factor VII – proconvertin: 10976 G>A
Factor XIII – fibrinase: G>T
FGB – fibrinogen: -455 G>A
ITGA2 – integrin, α2: 807 C>T
ITGB3 – integrin, b3: 1565 T>C
PAI-1 – serpin: -675 5G>4G
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
High specificity of detection of the studied polymorphisms by conducting Real-Time PCR and subsequent analysis of melting curves (melting curve analysis)
Included endogenous control to assess the quality of the clinical material and the DNA extraction process
