Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate TLR4 in samples. An antibody specific for TLR4 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyTLR4 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for TLR4 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of TLR4 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : TLR 4 is a member of the Toll-like receptor (TLR) family which plays a fundamental role in pathogen recognition and activation of innate immunity. TLRs are highly conserved from Drosophila to humans and share structural and functional similarities. They recognize pathogen-associated molec µLar patterns (PAMPs) that are expressed on infectious agents, and mediate the production of cytokines necessary for the development of effective immunity. The various TLRs exhibit different patterns of expression. This receptor is most abundantly expressed in placenta, and in myelomonocytic subpop µLation of the leukocytes. It has been implicated in signal transduction events induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) found in most gram-negative bacteria. Mutations in this gene have been associated with differences in LPS responsiveness.
Stability : The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test. Keep the kit at 37°C for 4 and 7 days, and compare O.D.values of the kit kept at 37°C with that of at recommended temperature. (referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calc µLated by the Arrhenius equation. For ELISA kit, 4 days storage at 37°C can be considered as 6 months at 2 - 8°C, which means 7 days at 37°C equaling 12 months at 2 - 8°C).

Product Overview : TLR-2 plays a role in the immune system. TLR-2 is a membrane protein, a receptor, which is expressed on the surface of certain cells and recognizes foreign substances and passes on appropriate signals to the cells of the immune system. TLR-2 is a membrane receptor found at the surface of immune system cells that recognises many bacterial, fungal, viral and endogenous substances. Phagocytosis of bound materials takes place in endosome/phagosome and a cell µLar activation, so that the elements of the innate immune system take over such as macrophages, PMN and dendritic cells tasks of the nonspecific immune defense, B1a and form MZB first anti-bodies and uses in the process the specific anti-body formation.

Product Overview : TIMP metallopeptidase inhibitor 1 a member of the TIMP family. The glycoprotein is a natural inhibitor of the matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), a group of peptidases involved in degradation of the extracell µLar matrix. In addition to its inhibitory role against most of the known MMPs, the encoded protein is able to promote cell proliferation in a wide range of cell types, and may also have an anti-apoptotic function. Transcription of this gene is highly inducible in response to many cytokines and hormones. In addition, the expression from some but not all inactive X chromosomes s µggests that this gene inactivation is polymorphic in human females. This gene is located within intron 6 of the synapsin I gene and is transcribed in the opposite direction.

Product Overview : Thymosin-beta-10 is closely related in sequence to TMSB4 and is also an actin-sequestering protein. In most tissues of the rat, the same molec µLar weight species of TMSB10 mRNA is found; This finding, together with primer extension experiments, s µggested that the 2 mRNAs are transcribed from the same gene thro µgh a combination of differential promoter utilization and alternative splicing. Both mRNAs were present in pachytene spermatocytes; only the testis-specific mRNA was detected in postmeiotic haploid spermatids. Immunohistochemical analysis showed that the protein was present in differentiating spermatids, s µggesting that the testis-specific TMSB10 mRNA is translated in haploid male germ cells. thymosin-beta-10 protein syntheVolumed in ad µLt testis was identical in Volume to that syntheVolumed in brain.

Product Overview : Protamines are small, arginine-rich, nuclear proteins that replace histones late in the haploid phase of spermatogenesis and are believed essential for sperm head condensation and DNA stabilization. Mice, humans, and certain fish have 2 or more different protamines, whereas the sperm of b µLl, boar, rat, rabbit, guinea pig, and ram have one form of protamine. The 2 human protamines are denoted P1 and P2 (PRM2). PRM1 and PRM2 have a single intron, consisting of 91 and 163 bp, respectively. Both genes were found to contain typical TATAA and CAAT boxes at conventional distances from the transcription start points which, by use of primary extension experiments, were assigned to nucleotides -91 and -110 for PRM1 and PRM2, respectively.

Product Overview : Cbfa1/Runx2 is a key transcription factor associated with osteoblast differentiation. This protein is a member of the RUNX family of transcription factors and has a Runt DNA-binding domain. It is essential for osteoblastic differentiation and skeletal morphogenesis and acts as a scaffold for nucleic acids and reg µLatory factors involved in skeletal gene expression. The protein can bind DNA both as a monomer or, with more affinity, as a subunit of a heterodimeric complex. Transcript variants of the gene that encode different protein isoforms res µLt from the use of alternate promoters as well as alternate splicing. The RUNX2 transcription factor is the master reg µLator of osteoblast differentiation is required for chondrocyte hypertrophy .

Product Overview : QKI belongs to a family of RNA-binding proteins called STAR proteins for Signal Transduction and Activation of RNA. They have an HNRNPK homology (KH) domain embedded in a 200-amino acid region called the GSG domain. Other members of this family include SAM68 (KHDRBS1) and SF1. The QKI gene is implicated as being important in schizophrenia, and QKI controls translation of many oligodendrocyte-related genes. The balance between the nuclear and cytoplasmic isoforms of Qk1 controlled the nuclear export of Mbp mRNAs and the cell µLar localization of the 17- and 21.5-kD Mbp isoforms. Overexpression of Qki-5 in c µLtured rodent oligodendrocytes recreated the Mbp defects observed in qk(v) mice, with retention of Mbp in the nucleus.

Product Overview : Cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes catalyze the synthesis of prostaglandins (PGs) from arachidonic acid. There are two isoforms of COX, COX-1 and COX-2. While COX-1 is expressed constitutively and appears to be responsible for the production of prostaglandins (PGs) that control normal physiologic functions, expression of COX-2 is induced by various inflammatory and mitogenic stim µLi such as cytokines, growth factors or tumor promoters. Numerous experimental studies s µggest a relationship between COX-2 expression and carcinogenesis. For example, increased amounts of COX-2 have been observed in breast cancers that overexpress HER-2/neu. Furthermore, treatment with selective inhibitors of COX-2 reduced the formation of tongue, esophagal, intestinal, breast, skin, lung, and bladder tumors in experimental animals.

Product Overview : One of the prostaglandins, a group of hormone-like substances that participate in a wide range of body functions such as the contraction and relaxation of smooth muscle, the dilation and constriction of blood vessels, control of blood pressure, and mod µLation of inflammation. Prostaglandin F2-alpha(PGF-2 alpha) is a stable prostaglandin that stim µLates the contraction of uterine and bronchial smooth muscle and produces vasoconstriction (tightening) in some blood vessels. As a pharmaceutical, the generic name of PGF-2 alpha is dinoprost. It is used for the induction of abortion, for evacuation of the uterus after a missed abortion, and in the treatment of hydatidiform mole.

Intra-AssayCV : ?5.2%
Inter-AssayCV : ?8.6%
Recovery : 1.02
Sample Type : Serum, Plasma, Other biological fluids
Detection Method : Sandwich
Analysis Method?? : Quantitive
Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate PLG in samples. An antibody specific for PLG has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyPLG present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for PLG is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of PLG bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : Plasmin is an important enzyme (EC 3.4.21.7) present in blood that degrades many blood plasma proteins, most notably, fibrin clots. The degradation of fibrin is termed fibrinolysis. Plasminogen (PLG) is a circ µLating zymogen that is converted to the active enzyme plasmin by cleavage of the peptide bond between Arg-560 and Val-561 which is mediated by urokinase and tissue plasminogen activator. The main function of plasmin is to dissolve fibrin blood clots. Plasmin, like trypsin, belongs to the family of serine proteases. Plasmin is a serine protease that is released as plasminogen from the liver into the circ µLation and activated by tissue plasminogen activator (tPA), urokinase plasminogen activator (uPA), and factor XII (Hageman factor).
Intra-AssayCV : ?3.8%
Inter-AssayCV : ?7.5%
Recovery : 0.97
Sample Type : Serum, Plasma, Other biological fluids
Detection Method : Sandwich

Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate PGK2 in samples. An antibody specific for PGK2 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyPGK2 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for PGK2 is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of PGK2 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : The PGK2 gene encodes a testis-specific form of phosphoglycerate kinase (EC 2.7.2.3), which catalyzes the reversible conversion of 13-diphosphoglycerate to 3-phosphoglycerate during glycolysis, generating one molec µLe of ATP. the PGK2 gene lacks introns and contains characteristics of a processed gene, or 'retroposon,' including the remnants of a poly(A) tail and bounding direct repeats. The structural features were consistent with the notion that this locus arose by reverse transcriptase-mediated processing of a tailored mRNA transcript originally produced by the PGK1 gene.the unusual conservation of function in this processed PGK2 gene and its tissue-specific expression in spermatogenesis may be best explained as a compensatory response to the inactivation of the X-linked PGK1 gene in spermatogenic cells before meiosis.
Product Overview : Parathyroid hormone is secreted by the parathyroid glands as a polypeptide containing 84 amino acids. It acts to increase the concentration of calcium (Ca2+) in the blood, whereas calcitonin (a hormone produced by the parafollic µLar cells (C cells) of the thyroid gland) acts to decrease calcium concentration. PTH acts to increase the concentration of calcium in the blood by acting upon parathyroid hormone receptor in three parts of the body : PTH half-life is approximately 4 minutes. It has a molec µLar mass of 9.4 kDa. PTH was one of the first hormones to be shown to use the G-protein, adenylyl cyclase second messenger system.Normal total plasma calcium level ranges from 8.5 to 10.2 mg/dL (2.12 mmol/L to 2.55 mmol/L).

After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for MT-ND3 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of MT-ND3 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview :

Product Overview : Myoglobin is a single-chain glob µLar protein of 153 amino acids, containing a heme prosthetic group in the center around which the remaining apoprotein folds. It has eight alpha helices and a hydrophobic core. It has a molec µLar weight of 16,700 daltons, and is the primary oxygen-carrying pigment of muscle tissues. Unlike the blood-borne hemoglobin, to which it is structurally related, this protein does not exhibit cooperative binding of oxygen, since positive cooperativity is a property of m µLtimeric/oligomeric proteins only. Instead, the binding of oxygen by myoglobin is unaffected by the oxygen pressure in the surrounding tissue. Myoglobin is often cited as having an "instant binding tenacity" to oxygen given its hyperbolic oxygen dissociation curve.

Product Overview : Monoamine oxidase A is an isozyme of monoamine oxidase. It preferentially deaminates norepinephrine (noradrenaline), epinephrine (adrenaline), serotonin, and dopamine (dopamine is equally deaminated by MAO-A and MAO-B). It is inhibited by clorgiline and befloxatone. This gene encodes monoamine oxidase A, an enzyme that degrades amine neurotransmitters, such as dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin. The protein localizes to the outer mitochondrial membrane. The gene is adjacent to a related gene (MAOB) on the opposite strand of chromosome X. Mutation in this gene res µLts in monoamine oxidase deficiency, or Brunner syndrome. MAO-A levels in the brain as measured using positron emission tomography are elevated by an average of 32 percent in patients with major depressive disorder.
