Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate MUTYH in samples. An antibody specific for MUTYH has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyMUTYH present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for MUTYH is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of MUTYH bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : MUTYH glycosylase, involved in oxidative DNA damage repair. The enzyme excises adenine bases from the DNA backbone at sites where adenine is inappropriately paired with guanine, cytosine, or 8-oxo-7,8-dihydroguanine, a major oxidatively damaged DNA lesion. The protein is localized to the nucleus and mitochondria. Mutations in this gene res µLt in heritable predisposition to colon and stomach cancer. Product Overview : Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 13 is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family. Expressed at high levels in transformed cell lines, cancers of colon, thyroid, lymphoid tissues and specifically expressed in monocytes and macrophages. This protein is a ligand for TNFRSF17/BCMA, a member of the TNF receptor family. This protein and its receptor are both found to be important for B cell development. In vitro experiments s µggested that this protein may be able to induce apoptosis thro µgh its interaction with other TNF receptor family proteins such as TNFRSF6/FAS and TNFRSF14/HVEM. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene encoding distinct isoforms have been reported.

Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate DHCR7 in samples. An antibody specific for DHCR7 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyDHCR7 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for DHCR7 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of DHCR7 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : 7-dehydrocholesterol reductasean enzyme that removes the C(7-8) double bond in the B ring of sterols and catalyzes the conversion of 7-dehydrocholesterol to cholesterol. This gene is ubiquitously expressed and its transmembrane protein localizes to the endoplasmic retic µLum membrane and nuclear outer membrane. Mutations in this gene cause Smith-Lemli-Opitz syndrome (SLOS); a syndrome that is metabolically characterized by reduced serum cholesterol levels and elevated serum 7-dehydrocholesterol levels and phenotypically characterized by mental retardation, facial dysmorphism, syndactyly of second and third toes, and holoprosencephaly in severe cases to minimal physical abnormalities and near-normal intelligence in mild cases. Alternative splicing res µLts in m µLtiple transcript variants that encode the same protein.
