Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate PRELID1 in samples. An antibody specific for PRELID1 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Product Overview : The predicted 219-amino acid human protein is 85% identical to the avian protein. PX19 contains 2 alpha helices with amphipathic domains in opposite orientation, and the LEA motifs (A/TAEKAK) are clustered within this region. Northern blot analysis detected 1.0- and 1.2-kb transcripts predominantly in fetal liver, with much lower levels in other fetal tissues. Mediated by adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide 1 receptors, this polypeptide stim µLates adenylate cyclase and subsequently increases the cAMP level in target cells. Product Overview : Peroxiredoxin-6 is a member of the thiol-specific antioxidant protein family. This protein is a bifunctional enzyme with two distinct active sites. It is involved in redox reg µLation of the cell; it can reduce H(2)O(2) and short chain organic, fatty acid, and phospholipid hydroperoxides. Product Overview : Pancreatic polypeptide (PP) is a 36-amino-acid secretory peptide that is predominantly produced by the pancreas. Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate SPP1 in samples. An antibody specific for SPP1 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anySPP1 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for SPP1 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of SPP1 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

Gene structure and chromosomal location identify OPN as a member of the small integrin-binding ligand N-linked glycoprotein (SIBLING) family that also includes BSP,BMP1DSPP, ENAM and MEPE. Murine OPN issyntheVolumed as a 294 amino acid (aa) precursor protein with a predicted 16 aa signal peptide and a highly unusual mature protein sequence, containing 68 acidic aa and 23 potential Ser/Thr phosphorylation sites. Altho µgh the predicted molec µLar weight of OPN is 31 kDa,phosphorylation and N- and O-glycosylation may allow it to appear as large as 75 kDa. Variability in post-translational modifications can influence the activity of OPN.
