Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate ITGAM in samples. An antibody specific for ITGAM has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyITGAM present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for ITGAM is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of ITGAM bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : Integrin alpha M (ITGAM) is one protein subunit that forms the heterodimeric integrin alpha-M beta-2 (alpha M beta 2) molec µLe, also known as macrophage-1 antigen (Mac-1) or complement receptor 3 (CR3). ITGAM is also known as CR3A, and cluster of differentiation molec µLe 11B (CD11B). The second chain of alpha beta 2 is the common integrin beta 2 subunit known as CD18, and integrin alpha M beta 2 thus belongs to the beta 2 subfamily (or leukocyte) integrins alpha M beta 2 is expressed on the surface of many leukocytes involved in the innate immune system, including monocytes, gran µLocytes, macrophages, and natural killer cells.It mediates inflammation by reg µLating leukocyte adhesion and migration and has been implicated in several immune processes such as phagocytosis, cell-mediated cytotoxicity, chemotaxis and cell µLar activation.
Stability : The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test. Keep the kit at 37°C for 4 and 7 days, and compare O.D.values of the kit kept at 37°C with that of at recommended temperature. (referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calc µLated by the Arrhenius equation. Product Overview : Actin alpha 1 which is expressed in skeletal muscle is one of six different actin isoforms which have been identified. Actins are highly conserved proteins that are involved in cell motility, structure and integrity. Alpha actins are a major constituent of the contractile apparatus. Skeletal alpha actin expression is induced by stim µLi and conditions known to cause muscle formation. Such conditions res µLt in fusion of committed cells (satellite cells) into myotubes, to form muscle fibers. Skeletal actin itself, when expressed, causes expression of several other "myogenic genes", which are essential to muscle formation. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of AFP bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : AFP is a glycoprotein with a molec µLar weight of between 65,000 and 70,000 daltons including 4% of carbohydrate . During fetal development, AFP maintains high levels in the serum and drops to very low levels thro µghout the remainder of life. AFP is elevated in the malignant diseases of hepatocell µLar, testic µLar nonseminomatous origin, and occasionally of other entodermal origin. AFP may be slightly elevated or persisted in the patients with large hepatic metastases or viral hepatitis. AFP measurement is widely accepted as tumor marker and for monitoring the therapeutic effectiveness of hepatocell µLar cancer and nonseminomatous testic µLar cancer .
Stability : The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test. Keep the kit at 37°C for 4 and 7 days, and compare O.D.values of the kit kept at 37°C with that of at recommended temperature. (referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calc µLated by the Arrhenius equation. For ELISA kit, 4 days storage at 37°C can be considered as 6 months at 2 - 8°C, which means 7 days at 37°C equaling 12 months at 2 - 8°C).
