AmnioPrime - amniotic cells and chorionic villi cells culture medium

General information AmnioPrime is a ready-to-use liquid culture medium that is used in important prenatal diagnostic tests. It allows the cultivation of human amniotic cells and chorionic villus cells for subsequent in vitro diagnostic chromosomal analysis and identification of chromosomal abnormalities by karyotyping, fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH) and other cytogenetic methods. ‎ Component composition and characteristics AmnioPrime consists of a basal medium MEM Alpha Modification, supplemented with carefully selected fetal calf serum, L-Glutamine, antibiotic and growth factors, which significantly improve the growth characteristics of amniotic cells and chorionic villus cells. The component composition of the medium is optimized to provide rapid growth and a high mitotic index. AmnioPrime is a ready-to-use environment and does not require the addition of additional supplements. ‎ Shelf life and stability The shelf life of AmnioPrime is 24 months from the date of manufacture when stored at ≤- 15°C.
